A tribute to Morton Creeger

A tribute to Morton Creeger

Posted by Sam Bowie on 24 October 2012

It is with great sadness that we announce that Morton Creeger (pictured above, second from left), the Chairman of the RNOH Charity, recently passed away.

Morton was appointed a non-executive director to the RNOH NHS Trust Board in December 1999 and contributed significantly to risk management issues within the Trust. He also served as the Chair of the Fundraising Committee and of the RNOH Fundraising Development Council for the Redevelopment of the RNOH. He became a Trustee to the RNOH Charity in November 2002 and was appointed as its Chairman in August 2008.

Morton’s breadth of fundraising knowledge proved invaluable during the RNOH Charity’s formative years – his vocal and heartfelt support of the charity enabled it to increase significantly in both size and profile.

Morton was extremely popular with everyone at the hospital; he will be greatly missed.
