The RNOH Charity is aware that the coronavirus outbreak is putting unprecedented pressure on the hospital’s clinical staff. For this reason, the RNOH Charity has created a COVID-19 Support Fund to help clinical staff and patients in any way possible. The aim of the fund is to enhance the well-being of NHS staff, volunteers and patients impacted by COVID-19, such as:
In order to be eligible, your request must enhance the well-being of NHS staff, volunteers or patients impacted by COVID-19, as stated above. We would like to ensure many RNOH staff and patients benefit from the fund and therefore we won’t always be able to accept multiple applications from the same ward.
All applications will be responded to within 24 hours of submission. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and you will be notified as soon as a decision has been made.
Once your grant has been approved, you can access support in two ways:
Please ensure you keep the original receipt from your purchase. If you have decided on this option, you will be emailed a simple form to complete to claim your money back. This will need to be returned to rnoh.charitygrants@nhs.net before any money can be reimbursed.
Once your application has been successful, the RNOH Charity will contact you to find out any key information required.
The RNOH Charity will be required to formally report on where funds have been spent from its COVID-19 Support Fund. Therefore, please be prepared to give feedback once support has been given by answering a simple questionnaire either over the phone or via email.
If you have any queries, please direct them to the Executive Assistant at rnoh.charitygrants@nhs.net or call 020 8909 5362.
