The RNOH Charity strengthens and supports the people, research and infrastructure that make the RNOH one of the world’s best orthopaedic hospitals.

We are a vital partner in the way the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) delivers care. The RNOH Charity’s main purpose is to raise funds to help the RNOH provide world-class care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, and to support the hospital's pioneering work in orthopaedic research and education. The Charity strengthens the vital work of the RNOH on an on-going basis by funding extra services and facilities that are beyond the reach of the hospital’s NHS budget.

The RNOH Charity’s mission is to strengthen and support the people, research and infrastructure that make the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital one of the world’s best orthopaedic hospitals. Since its inception in 1997, the Charity has received and administered millions of pounds worth of donations, which have funded numerous essential projects for the hospital.

We are looking for an experienced philanthropy fundraiser who can lead the development of our trusts and major donor income streams.

For this instrumental role you will ideally be:

  • An excellent relationship builder with a background in either trusts or major gifts as well exceptional writing skills
  • Able to analyse data and turn it into compelling cases for support, securing significant gifts in support of the Charity’s vision
  • Experienced in achieving annual income of £500,000 from a caseload of trusts and high net worth individuals
